The Digital Facilities Co-ordinator will be responsible for the quality, accuracy, and security of the master record information. The successful candidate will assist the BIM Manager focussing on the quality and consistency of the information submitted while ensuring that deliverables are continuously transformed from projects handover into master digital records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and report on the quality of digital information including 2D/3D CAD files, 3D models, ESRI Shape files and asset registers in accordance with daa project information standard.
* General maintenance and updating of Master Drawings information including development of new master drawings for Dublin & Cork Master drawing sets, updates from project as-builts, survey, historical and third-party sources.
* Supportive to other sections / disciplines in infrastructure and other external departments on Master Drawings general queries and assistance with special projects as required.
* Responsible for ensuring that digital master records are maintained and distributed in a secure and auditable manner.
* Assist the BIM Coordinator with the integration of project information into master records.
* Utilise software systems and standards where possible to automate all processes in the transformation of digital information.
* Assist with the production of information that is suitable for incorporation into GIS mapping.
* Support the BIM Manager / Senior GIS Analyst in improving the project information standards by providing feedback and participate in lessons learned.
* Assist with the development and maintenance of CAD/Revit/Civil3D/GIS Standard templates and libraries.
* Sample and validate data on sites to assess project delivery data quality for continuous improvement activities
* Develop Change Management Control Processes.
* Attend and report at weekly digital team meetings.
* Perform all essential functions and responsibilities in accordance with daa's values and beliefs and in alignment with our policies.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Minimum of 2+ years' experience working in the management of spatial information.
* 3rd level qualification in AEC-Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or GIS-Geography/Geoinformatics.
* Excellent working knowledge of BIM/CAD/GIS.
* Familiar with BIM/CAD/GIS standards, Codes of Practice and Document Control.
* Understanding of Common Data Environment – CDE.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D.
* Knowledge of ESRI / Geographical Information Systems.
* Knowledge of programming / scripting to support automation & data analysis.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
