Overview PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-discipline team of 3,500 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors. We are currently looking to appoint a Digital Operations Support Specialist to be based in our Cork office. The purpose of the job is to provide the best technical support to PM Group and clients. Responsibilities Build and deploy desktops/laptops in the office and onsite. Support interoffice department personnel moving of IT hardware. Maintenance of switches/wifi points/servers/printers in PM Group's offices Providing technical leadership and guidance for live events and video conferences. Resolve service requests escalated by the Service Desk or other technicians associated with end-user equipment and software. Implements appropriate remedies according to established departmental standards & recommends to superiors appropriate action/steps to be taken to avoid similar future problems Interfaces with other staff - technical & other departmental users and customers on all computer & network related issues and problems Good knowledge of Microsoft Active directory, Windows Server OS, File & Sharing permissions and Microsoft Office. Qualifications At least 2+ years' experience in technical support role. Excellent communication skills & the ability to get on well with customers & colleagues. A full driver's license & own transport is essential. Analytical and problem-solving skills are required. The ability to interact, educate and communicate with all levels of professional staff. Relevant technical related qualification. Personal Specification: Strong work ethic. Act with integrity. Good organizational skills. Flexible and willing to travel to meet project requirements. Good communications skills both verbal and written and ability to work within a multi-discipline team environment. Ability to produce accurate work to strict deadlines. Why PM Group?
