We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Data Analytics to lead and transform our data-driven decision-making processes. This role is pivotal in establishing and executing our data analytics and business intelligence strategy, ensuring the effective use of data to deliver actionable insights, improve business performance, and drive innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, and leadership, with the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams, communicate insights to senior stakeholders, and implement advanced data solutions. The ideal candidate will be located in Ohio with the ability to easily travel to clients. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the organization's data analytics and business intelligence strategy aligned with business goalsLead a high-performing team of data analysts, BI developers, and data scientists to deliver impactful, data-driven insightsPartner with internal and external business units (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance) to understand their data needs and deliver solutions to drive performance and growthManage the integration of data across multiple systems and platforms to create a unified, accurate data ecosystemEnsure compliance with all relevant data privacy regulations and internal data security policiesImplement data visualization strategies that enable both technical and non-technical teams to easily interpret data and make data-driven decisionsContinuously optimize and innovate BI platforms and reporting tools to improve performance and efficiencyConduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in business operations and performanceDevelop predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities to drive strategic initiatives and decision-makingProvide ongoing analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business health and recommend corrective actions when necessaryBuild and mentor a diverse, high-performance analytics and business intelligence teamSet clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support professional development through training and career growth opportunitiesOversee resource allocation and project prioritization to ensure timely delivery of analytics solutionsOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on coaching and developing talentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tacticallyExceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiencesA deep understanding of business processes and how data analytics can drive improvements across departmentsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, with at least 4 years in a leadership roleProven experience in designing and implementing BI systems and analytics strategies that have driven business successStrong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and BI platformsProficiency in data management tools, SQL, and modern analytics technologies (e.g., Python, R, Spark)Experience with data governance, data warehousing, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plusAbility to travel as neededRea & Associates offers a wide variety of benefits to help support our employees' health, wellness and financial goals.
