I am looking to speak to Director of Engineering for a permanent position based in Dublin. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing our engineering department, setting strategic goals, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the engineering team, setting technical direction and ensuring alignment with business goals.Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable software/hardware solutions.Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute the company's technical vision and strategy.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high-quality engineering practices.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives.Mentor and develop engineering leaders and team members.Requirements: Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role (e.g., Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering).Strong technical background with knowledge in Java and/or Ruby, JavaScript, and React.Track record of successfully leading and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
