Director Of Nursing

We are hiring a Director of Nursing - DON  for our Nursing Home in Co Tipperary.
This job is for someone who wants to join a busy and well-established nursing home group.
The Director of Nursing will play a key role in leading our nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities Creating and maintaining a residential environment where residents feel supported and valued Providing leadership and clinical supervision to staff to enhance standards and morale Establishing and upholding high standards of professional practice and ensuring the nursing home environment meets the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of residents Serving as a resource to nursing staff in planning and implementing care Promoting, encouraging, and practicing person-centered care which is essential for ensuring the well-being of residents Ensuring adequate staffing levels for high-quality care delivery and smooth operations Flexibility is required, as availability to work night and weekend shifts may be necessary Requirements Live NMBI Registration Post-registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is preferred Minimum 3 years of previous work experience in a management role is required At least 6 years of post-registration nursing experience Demonstrated clinical proficiency and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to older individuals Possession of a valid Irish Drivers License and access to personal transportation are essential requirements Benefits Free On-site Parking Induction Training Program Education Assistance Program Employee Well-Being Initiatives Excellent training and career progression opportunities Free meals while on duty Friendly & supportive working environment Refer a Friend Bonus Payment Scheme
