Director of Product Management Dublin/Kilkenny/Waterford/Wexford - Hybrid My client is a global powerhouse in the financial services space looking for a Director of Product Management to nurture and develop the Digital Product Management function and team.
You will focus on the skill and career development of your team members while ensuring alignment with the organisations scaled agile operating model and organisational goals.
You will come from a strong product management background with a passion to develop product people and grow out the wider capability.
Director of Product Management - Responsibilities: Lead and Collaborate with Product and Agile Delivery Managers to develop and roll out a comprehensive career development framework considering skill assessment, training programmes, and mentorship.
Develop metrics and KPI's to measure the impact of the career development pathway enabling tracking over time.
Collaborate with HR and wider senior leadership teams to find talent gaps and develop strategies to improve the Product Management function.
Lead training workshops and coaching sessions to improve technical and soft skills for the Product team.
Drive initiatives to continuously develop processes, tooling, and methodologies utilising Scaled Agile frameworks.
Provide Technical Leadership to a combination on People Managers and senior individual contributors.
Director of Product Management - Required Experience: 10+ years' experience in Product Management with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
Demonstrable experience in the design and implementation of career development programmes within a Scaled Agile environment.
Solid working knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc.
Ability to collaborate with wider teams and inspire and motivate a high performing team.
Desirable Certifications: Certified Product Manager, Certified Product Owner, SAFe Program Consultant etc.
Experience in the Insurance and Benefits technology domains is desirable.
