Key Purpose of the Role: Tate Europe is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Project Management to lead our on-site delivery and execution of products across Europe.
The Director of Project Management will be responsible for overseeing site safety, optimising pre-delivery processes, and ensuring timely and safe delivery of projects for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, extensive experience in the construction industry (preferably within Data Centers), and a proven track record of operational excellence and process improvement within an organisation.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Tate's project management team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project execution.
Oversee the on-site delivery and execution of Tate's products across Europe, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
Develop and implement pre-delivery processes and workflows to optimise Tate's ability to deliver projects safely and on time.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline project management processes and increase productivity.
Monitor project performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the project management team and across the organisation.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Responsible for creating and reporting on project progress regarding scope, schedule, standards, and budget.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, value engineering, and revenue enhancement to drive business growth and profitability.
Oversee design development and client technical submittal process with engineering design team.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Extensive experience working within the construction industry, with a focus on Data Centres and interior fit out highly preferred.
Proven track record of operational excellence and process improvement within an organisation, with experience in project management leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Experience working in a multicultural environment and managing projects across multiple countries is a plus.
PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
