Director Of Sales

This popular Dublin four star hotel is currently recruiting a proven Director of Sales to lead the hotel's sales function, inspiring and supporting the entire hotel team to achieve maximum revenue and profitability across all departments.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and direction of the sales office's daily operations, ensuring the highest level of sales service for both potential and existing clients.Implement and manage annual sales budget and sales action plan.Day-to-day sales activity including lead generation, face-to-face meetings, contracting and rate negotiation, site inspections, attendance at trade shows, client entertainment and sales trips.Management and development of the sales team to achieve revenue targets across assigned segments.Regular competitor research and monitoring.Maintain awareness of market developments and other factors influencing business.The ideal candidate:
Minimum of three years' experience as Director of Sales /Commercial Director in a quality four star establishment.Proven track record of achieving/exceeding all department goals and targets.Excellent knowledge of the Dublin market.Proactive, creative approach with a knack for finding innovative solutions and opportunities.Proven team leader, able to effectively manage and inspire people to success.An outgoing personality who can drive new relationships as well as maintain existing ones.Sound knowledge of all required sales systems with the ability to provide clear written reports.If you're an inspiring, proven Sales Director relishing a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
