Dncc2024021 Social Worker, Senior Medical (Dublin North East Inner City, School – Age Multidisciplinary Team)- Oibrí Sóisialta Sinsearach Míochaine

This 5 – 12 year School Age North East Inner City Multi- Disciplinary Team provides school and clinic based therapy services to children attending specific schools in the North East Inner City.
The MDT consists of Senior Social Worker, Senior Speech and Language Therapists, Senior Occupational Therapists, Senior Psychologists, the Team Coordinator and Admin Support.

The purpose of the team is to provide MDT therapeutic interventions to children [and their caregivers/parent(s)/families] who are attending a number of schools across Dublin North Inner City.
The schools included are mostly but not exclusively under the DEIS schools programme.
The Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools [DEIS] programme aims to reduce educational disadvantage under the Department of Education.

The current school programme will be expanded to include a number of additional schools within the area in September.
