Mellany McLoone is Chief Officer for CHO DNCC and has full responsibility and accountability for the delivery of all Community Healthcare services in the area.
Community Healthcare Services are the broad range of services that are delivered outside of the acute hospital setting.
DescriptionThe Principal Social Worker will lead and be responsible for effective delivery of a quality social work service.
The Principal Social Worker will be a member of the North Dublin Management Team.
To provide leadership, management and direct input with regard to the delivery of a mental health social work service, including therapy and specialist teams to adults who present with moderate to severe mental health disorders that require the input of a specialist multidisciplinary mental health team.To provide liaison in respect of interagency work.To provide line management, clinical supervision and consultation to staff, as required.To lead and be responsible for the effective delivery of a quality social work service for a defined functional area, inclusive of uni-disciplinary and multidisciplinary PPGs.To lead on service development with particular focus on social work services.To input into CHO DNCC projects directly related to the development, reconfiguration, and improvement of Mental Health Services.To input directly into the development, implementation and review of CAPAs and other duties as required in order to respond in a timely manner to the requirements of the Mental Health Commission.The post holder will have responsibility for the Peer Support Work Service and Family Peer Support Services in North Dublin AMHS.Support the implementation of the National Model of Care.For further support on applying for this role please refer to:
