Position Overview: Our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our clients team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project-related documents in accordance with company and client requirements.
This is a critical role in ensuring the success of our projects by ensuring that all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain document control processes and procedures for all project documentation.
Monitor document control processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Ensure all documents are properly named, numbered, version-controlled, and stored in the appropriate location.
Manage the distribution of documents to relevant project stakeholders, tracking and documenting all changes made.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate document updates.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all documents meet company and client standards.
Assist in developing and maintaining document control databases and systems.
Prepare and maintain project document reports for project management and clients.
Train team members on document control procedures and processes.
Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as project management, engineering, or business administration.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using document control software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of document control processes and procedures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
