Dog Trainer (Contractor)

ITK9 is seeking dedicated and experienced Dog Trainers to join our team as independent contractors. In this role, you will provide board and train services, taking 2-3 dogs into your home to meet our comprehensive program criteria. If you are passionate about dog training and possess the skills to handle a variety of breeds and behaviors, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:Board and Train Services:Host 2-3 dogs in your home for training.Provide clients with regular updates, pictures, videos, and homework.Submit progress updates to ITK9 every day via video.Utilize tools such as e-collars, prong collars, pet convincers, flat collars, and slip leads.Train dogs on on- and off-leash obedience, from puppies to adults.Address behavior modification needs, including anxiety and aggression.Professional Interactions:Engage with clients and the public in a professional manner.Commit to continuing education to enhance your training skills for both dogs and humans.Qualifications:Proven experience in dog training, including on- and off-leash obedience.Ability to handle and train both small and large breeds.Skilled in using various training tools (e-collars, prong collars, etc.).Experience in behavior modification for issues such as anxiety and aggression.Excellent communication skills for client updates and interactions.Commitment to professional development in dog training.Experience:Dog training: 1 year (required)Apply today and Join the pack
