One Productions is a busy production company operating in advertising, branded content, corporate, web, broadcast and film. We are hiring for a full-time position for DOP / CAMERA OPERATOR to help us in creating great video & film content.

We're looking for a talented DOP / Camera Operator with a creative eye and the ability to work with our producers, directors & clients to see a project through from creative development to filming to helping our editors deliver the end product.
On a day-to-day basis you'll be working on key client projects, from Fortune Global 500 companies to Government bodies to startups to domestic brands and universities to understand and transform their needs into beautiful film.
We're looking for an experienced, imaginative, creatively and technically-minded filmmaker who enjoys working as part of a team to solve exciting & challenging client problems and create screen content we're all proud of.
TYPES OF PROJECTS:
You may work on a variety of productions including:
commercialscorporate videosnarrative/script-based filmsmusic videoseducational and informational videostelevision programmesNECESSARY SKILLS: At least 5 years' professional experience filmmakingExceptional skills in operating a camera, from framing to focus to exposure, to movement to log options and settings. Our usual camera packages are based around Sony FX6, Blackmagic Ursa 12k & 4.6k, and Sony FS7s.Excellent knowledge of lighting planning, setup and fixtures for both small and large productionsFull clean Irish driving license. (Our camera van is a Ford Transit. You will be driving it)A strong understanding of and experience with various codecs, formats, aspect ratios and resolutions.Great knowledge of different lens options and their pros and consThe ability to record sound on location with radio / boom micsOrganisational ability to keep gear organised and maintained and experience dealing with rental housesAdvanced knowledge of using grip equipment like jib/crane, slider/dolly and gimbalsExperience of dealing with clients and comfortable in the roleExcellent time management and people skillsThe ability to work with the production team before filming to create shot lists as well as other essential pre-production documents to inject creativity into the shootDESIRED SKILLS: Knowledge of colour gradingA general interest in camera technology and an awareness of new and exciting kit to help us make our videos even betterExperience, knowledge and ability in live streamingPERSONAL SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skillsInitiative and a tendency to be proactiveWell-organised and systematic, even under pressureEnjoying working with team-mates and clients to build long-lasting relationshipsThe ability to attend client meetings and represent the business professionallyFlexibility and application to ensure shoots are completed to brief and scheduleCreative curiosity and a desire to try out new thingsThe position is full-time, and will be structured as an initial 3-month contract with review after the initial period.
