The Panel is working exclusively with a global client to source a hi-calibre DP, Investment Management for their Dublin ManCo and Responsible Investment (RI) Analyst to work in their global RI team.
As Designated Person for Investment Management, this candidate will be responsible for overseeing the investment activities of the company, its funds, and delegates. You will be required to work in a global matrix environment and be required to engage and present to senior management, boards, and regulators.
The purpose of this role is to lead and take responsibility for Investment oversight, operational processes, procedures, policies supporting their Direct Infrastructure, Fixed Interest, Multi-asset, FX and Equity Front Office teams.
On the Responsible Investing side, you will work in a global team supporting ESG regulatory change implementation, reporting, ongoing monitoring as required. Part of your role with be supporting front office investment teams with ESG data requests and net zero commitment implementation including managing relationships with ESG data vendors.
The Job Designated Person Responsibilities Develop a monitoring and oversight framework for the allocated Function.Develop and agree strategies, policies and directions of the Boards are acted upon and complied with.Participate in formal regular meetings with other DPs.Monitor and oversee compliance of delegates appointed by the fund management company to ensure compliance with its regulatory obligations.Investment Oversight Responsibilities Responsible Investment Reporting cycle and promoting credentials to a range of internal and external stakeholders.Assessment and implementation of ESG regulations to ensure the business adheres to global regulatory requirements.Provide oversight of the portfolios of funds in scope across all of Ireland's products, including UCITS and AIFM funds.Provide advice in line with MiFID II guidance and suitability requirements.Responsible for monitoring and overseeing the meeting of the company's regulatory obligations under.UCITS, AIFMD, MIFID II, Central Bank of Ireland requirements and any other regulations as relevant to the company's operations.The Candidate Previous approval with the CBI as a Designated Person for Investment Management or 5 years in a DP Investment Management support role is highly advantageous.Experience in a responsible investment team / function within an asset management firm, particularly in relation to client and/or regulatory reporting.An understanding of regional and/or global ESG regulatory frameworks and standards.Experience in ESG data management and/or ESG vendor relationship management.The candidate must have an ESG qualification and relevant ESG experience in an investments role to be considered.
