Driver Within The Funeral Sector

A large Funeral Company based primarily on the North Side of Dublin is looking for an individual interested in a career in the funeral sector.
This is a full time position consisting of a five day (40 hour week) which includes each Saturday.
In addition to the full time position, the candidate must be available for after hours on-call duties comprising of one week in every 4 weeks.
For the on-call element of this role, the individual must be available at short notice after office hours to carry out duties which primarily include collection of the deceased from place of death.
The on-call role provides a separate income stream to the funeral driver role.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, can work well under pressure while maintaining a sympathetic manner and being sensitive to the needs of others.
The individual must be compassionate, considerate, caring and must be smartly presented.
Full training will be provided.
The candidate must possess, Excellent communication skills.
Excellent motivational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Be physically fit as lifting will be a requirement of the position.
A full clean licence is essential for this role.
An SPSV licence while not essential, would be beneficial.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to Driving duties, collection of the deceased from place of death, preparation of coffins, assisting with the preparation of the deceased and other duties as assigned.
Job Type:Full time Salary:From €16.50 per hour for daytime duties.
(40 Hours) In Addition: The second income from the on-call role will be discussed at interview.
