We are looking for an energetic individual to join the management team with specific responsibility for Midleton Distillery Experience operations.
With so many people travelling to the distillery, the successful candidate will be very organised with exceptionally high standards.
They will be a strong leader who cancoordinate and manage all areas of the day-to-day operations of the Midleton Distillery Experience.If you're a dynamic individual, with an ability to build relationships with colleagues across the business; with a solid understanding of marketing and how brands work; and a natural ability to lead and inspire a great team, we'd be delighted to hear from you.Our visitors love our portfolio of whiskeys, and it's our goal to ensure they leave the distillery having had a memorable experience; your ability to interact with both your team and our visitors in a confident professional manner will guarantee we achieve this goal.The successful candidate will join a fantastic company an impeccable reputation built around employee satisfaction, a customer focus and quality brands.What's involved?Take responsibility for, and effectively manage, day-to-day operations the Midleton Brand Home.
This must be achieved with active leadership support and presence on the floor.Assist the management team providing managerial cover in all areas of the business and assisting with the completion of projects.Influence support and empower the team leaders within each function to take ownership of their department, and to work collaboratively in pursuit of common goals.Ensure every visitor engagement is executed with brand messaging at its core.Become familiar with all products and services offered within the Midleton Campus.Deal with complaints, if arising, in a professional and admirable manner taking the opportunity to convert disappointed visitors into new advocates for our businessBecome familiar with and challenge current procedures with a view towards continuous improvement.
Provide support with the recruitment and training of staff.Ensure the Brand Home team is provided with continuous training.
with the Brand Home training coordinator to identify training necessary to establish a high-performing team.Become familiar with, challenge, and drive efficiency with all contractors.Manage and control all aspects of the site housekeeping and ambience.Oversee the caretaker roll to ensure the entire campus site is presentable all year round both inside and out.What are we looking for?A third level qualification preferable in Business, Tourism and/or Hospitality or another related disciplineStrong attention to detail with high standards.Knowledge and experience of Irish whiskey production processes seen as an advantage.Good interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence at different levels.High level of organisational and project management skills.Up-to-date IT skills and an appetite to embrace new technology.Fluency in English is required for this position.
