Summary: The successful candidate will be the E&I subject matter expert and operate as part of a Continental Shift Maintenance Team.
This team is responsible for performing routine calibrations, as well as repair & troubleshooting on all the equipment used on a major state-of-the-art Biologics Campus in Dublin 15.
This role would suit someone who has the ability to work with a team but is also a self-starter.
You will need to have excellent understanding and experience in the calibration of temperature, pressure, weight, RH & Flow measurement equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform calibrations for process, utility and manufacturing equipment and systems related to instruments and control systems as generated via an CMMS.
Troubleshoot and repair site instrumentation and control and monitoring system issues Ensure work is completed in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with applicable cGMP procedures Ensure that instrumentation and calibration documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with applicable cGMP procedures Execution of work according to plan and schedule ensuring coordination of work with maintenance and operations staff to minimise impact to production activities Recommend and implement improvement ideas to enhance the instrumentation and metrology functions and other business processes.
Education/ Experience Requirements: Instrumentation Apprenticeship or B.Sc.
Degree in instrument / electronic engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of combined education, training, and experience in calibration, instrumentation, measurement and control preferably in Pharmaceutical Industry Proven fault finding/trouble shooting skills Knowledge and experience working in a GMP regulated facility.
