Summary:

A global pharmaceutical company based in Cork is looking for an E&I Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical and instrumentation expertise to ongoing projects within the pharmaceutical facilities.

Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems for pharmaceutical projects. Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for E&I systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including cGMP, FDA, and other relevant guidelines, throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize E&I-related project risks. Manage E&I contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project milestones. Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure reliability and performance. Support project documentation, including drawings, technical reports, and equipment specifications. Provide technical support to other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders as needed. Participate in project meetings, reviews, and audits to ensure alignment with project objectives and quality standards. Co-ordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work ensuring delivery of the schedule and budget. Preparation of E&I Deliverables, including instrument data sheets, schedules, hook up drawings, wiring and block diagrams, instrument loops, E&I Services layouts, schedules, load study's etc. Review project scope, budget and schedule. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a focus on projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience with design software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP) and instrumentation software (e.g., SCADA, PLC). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
