Early Years Practitioner

Childcare Assistant level 5-9 required.

We are currently hiring an experienced and qualified Early Years Practitioner to work as a Childcare Assistant in our Creche. We are looking for a full time as well as part time person with at least FETAC 5 level experience. Salary up to €3200 per month available to a suitable candidate with FETAC 9 level.

Typical Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the individual needs of children are identified and met to the highest standards

• Adhering to company policies, procedures and operational practices at all times with particular attention paid to occupational Health and Safety

• Ensuring positive working relationships are developed and maintained with children, staff and parents.

The successful candidate must have:

• A Childcare Degree Qualification Award Level 6 or higher from a recognised body.

• Minimum 1 year experience in a childcare setting.

• A desire to learn progressively throughout your career.

• Knowledge of working with the Aistear Curriculum and Siolta quality Framework.

• Manual Handling and Occupational First Aid certificate would be an advantage.

• Good communication skills: fluency in both spoken and written English.
