We are seeking a dynamic and experienced EC Process Engineer to join our team in Dublin.
JOB SUMMARY The EC Process Engineer develops and implements engineering change processes that integrate seamlessly with production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most efficient manner for new and existing products and processes.
EC Process Engineer is the technical expert on change management, especially engineering change, liaising with change initiators both internally and externally ensuring that all change is designed for manufacturing (DFM).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Will lead the startup of new/existing projects optimising cost, efficiency and quality. Monitors the end to end change process; troubleshooting problem processes and resolving issues with minimal to zero impact on production throughput. Will own and lead on the control and maintenance of appropriate documentation. Develop EC Process KPIs ensuring the full end to end monitoring of the ECN process, along with downstream process impact analysis minimising production problems associated with change processes, and assist in resolving issues quickly with full root cause analysis. Establish detailed processes for new product lines; document product development and changes; evaluate new product performance; and monitor new customer driven processes. Perform DoE activities to enhance processes influence senior leadership decision making. Lead and implement major changes in process improvements; propose or specify remediation and revision engagements while ensuring adequate documentation is maintained. Provide functional and technical mentoring to process technicians and other process engineers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment; supporting all company safety programs and initiatives. Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives. Apply and support Lean Manufacturing principles. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS Degree (min. Bachelors) in Process / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering 5 Years working experience in a similar role KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of high volume assembly processes and procedures Knowledge of SAP ERP, MRP, BOM Maintenance, Production planning and inventory management. Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
