The ALG Solutions eDiscovery and Investigations support team in Dublin is seeking to hire an experienced eDiscovery Specialist and would welcome expressions of interest from candidates with proven track records of delivery and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

While being part of the Technology function of ALG Solutions, this role will involve working with the eDiscovery and Investigations support team of ALG Solutions. Working with ALG Solutions teams, as well as the firm's practice groups, the eDiscovery Specialist will be required to provide technical and professional support to cover the full eDiscovery EDRM lifecycle and will assist in leading efforts ensuring that ALG build on its market leading legal analysis to include market leading digital analysis in the eDiscovery field.
This role is a predominantly business facing role but some client facing activity is possible. This role will report to the Manager, Legal Technology & eDiscovery Team.

This will keep you engaged and connected to our culture, while supporting our clients and driving our business forward Responsibilities Responsible for providing excellent client service and ensuring that projects are carried out to the best possible standard, within agreed upon timeframes, at an acceptable cost and in line with ALG's best practices Manage large eDiscovery projects from the initial scoping through to conclusion/archiving.
Supporting the delivery of technical and consultancy services to legal teams and clients in: - eDiscovery - Data management - Data collection and processing - Document review - Relevant court rules and practice directions Implementation and rollout of RelativityOne on a variety of projects, whilst adhering and embedding industry leading practices and procedures into every step of the technology and our standard workflows.
Advising case teams and clients on the methodology for forensic collection of data, and provide guidance and technical support for data identification, preservation, collection and transfer in a forensically sound manner.
Assisting case teams in leveraging our technology stack to deliver best in practice digital workflows and analysis.
Delivering consistent, clear, and proactive communications to legal teams and clients. Ensuring that up to date records are being maintained with regards to the status of all projects.
Development of repeatable, legally defensible workflows for technology initiatives to increase work efficiencies.
Building and maintaining relationships with our internal teams as well as our external suppliers.
Provide training and support to clients and legal teams.
Devising and implementing protocols within the EDRM to ensure the delivery of best practices.
Identification of EDRM applications that ALG could on-board to deliver efficiencies to the firm and our clients.
Preparing and delivering business cases for the expansion of ALG Solution's core services to include the investment in new technology, the delivery of new services, and the delivery of more efficiency for the firm and our clients.
Assisting the ALG Solutions Technology team with the design and roll out of legal technology projects across the firm and with clients.
Requirements At least 3 years industry experience in eDiscovery / e-Disclosure with 3+ years' experience of using Relativity, Nuix or similar eDiscovery platforms ideally with accreditation (RelativityOne desirable) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or other technical related fields A legal qualification is also preferred, but may not be essential if candidate has requisite experience Excellent communication skills with strengths in 'translating' technical information to non-technical audiences and to consistently deliver clear and proactive communications to the case teams and clients.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
Excellent ability to steer projects through to completion by taking ownership and working through ambiguity.
Proficient in identifying technical issues and recommending solutions.
Technical experiences required: - Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) - (Very Advantageous) - Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerBI - Strong SQL skills, specifically the ability to be able to script queries.
- (Optional) Software development skills or experience (Python, JavaScript and C#).
Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
Able to handle multiple deliveries in a changing environment with some/minimal supervision.
High level of professionalism and accountability; handles sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care.
A self-starter who is comfortable in, and committed to, working through ambiguity with an ability to take the initiative.
Flexibility to work beyond office hours on occasion.
Previous Experience working in an eDiscovery environment at either a law firm, service provider, or in-house.
