Mastertech is Currently Recruiting an EHS AdvisorMastertech Group is a leading provider of HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainability contracting services in Ireland. We are currently seeking an EHS Advisor to join our team based in Tallaght, Dublin 24. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise across M&E, HVAC and Sustainability sites in Dublin and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
The EHS Advisor will collaborate closely with the QHSE & Compliance Manager, Project Managers and site personnel to ensure strict compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety Regulations. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by implementing best practices, conducting site inspections and audits, and fostering a culture of safety excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Collaborate with Clients, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety Regulations.Develop RAMS in coordination with Site Supervisors / Contract Managers.Provide guidance to the Project Management team on site-specific EHS best practices.Plan and deliver training sessions, including Toolbox Talks, to promote a safety-oriented culture.Conduct EHS site audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, implementing corrective and preventative measures.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.Actively promote and enforce company EHS policies and procedures.Provide support to the QHSE & Compliance Manager.Develop Construction Health and Safety Plans as required for PSCS projects.Assist with preparation of EHS performance reports.Assist the QHSE & Compliance Manager to conduct regular emergency drills and training sessions.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A minimum of a health and safety certificate is essential. A 3rd Level qualification in Health and Safety is preferred.Minimum of 1 year's experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.Proven experience of working on PSCS projects.Proven experience in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
