Hobson Prior is seeking an EHS Specialist to join a dedicated Global EHS Team. The successful candidate will help develop and implement safety and environmental systems, ensuring they align with our policies and strategies. This role involves providing expert advice, supporting various departments, and occasionally traveling to other sites.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities: Help maintain and improve the safety and environmental management system. Act as a representative for the EHS Manager when needed. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety and environmental programs. Record and investigate incidents, recommending actions to prevent future occurrences. Assist departments in identifying hazards and implementing safety measures. Work with HR and Occupational Health to support staff health and wellbeing. Keep safety and environmental documentation up to date. Conduct internal audits and inspections. Assist with preparations for external audits. Track and manage safety and environmental actions to completion. Maintain legal compliance records. Support EHS Council and Wellbeing Team projects. Design and deliver safety and environmental training. Oversee the Site Permit to Work system for maintenance and contractor activities. Ensure proper waste management and assess potential environmental impacts. Key Skills & Requirements: Knowledge of safety and environmental management systems. Ability to investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures. Strong communication skills for working with various departments. Experience in conducting audits and inspections. Ability to manage and track multiple tasks effectively. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
