Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager for a Data Centre project.
With a strong technical background in electrical systems, Electrical Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical construction activities including planning, directing, and coordinating all electrical-related work while ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements: * Supporting the Project Manager, you will develop and implement detailed construction plans for electrical systems, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
* Lead and manage electrical teams ensuring proper training, performance management, and compliance with safety protocols.
* Perform regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure the integrity of all electrical installations.
* Conduct regular safety meetings ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
* Oversee the procurement of electrical materials and equipment in coordination with the procurement team to ensure that materials are available when required.
* Identify potential challenges or risks related to electrical construction and develop solutions promptly.
* Collaborate with clients, project managers, and relevant stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress addressing any concerns or issues related to electrical works promptly and professionally.
* Maintain accurate records of all electrical construction activities, including daily progress reports, inspection logs, and material deliveries and provide detailed reports to senior management.
* Ensure all electrical systems are tested and commissioned according to project requirements.
* Degree/qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in electrical construction management, preferably within Data Centre projects.
* Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and electrical codes/regulations.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to make decisions under pressure and manage project risks effectively.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
