The successful candidate will have responsibility for ensuring that all work is efficiently and effectively managed and executed within defined constraints, such as time and budget, and with due diligence.
The role will require strong technical skills and communication and interaction with managers, engineers, internal and external team members, suppliers and clients.Development of new Electrical designs and conceptsEvaluation of the client specificationsPreparation of Electrical Technical Designs & SubmissionsBuilding Services Design including Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Lighting, Intruder Alarm, etc.Design of electrical distribution systems including Single Line, Max Demand and Panel DesignInstrumentation Design including selection, termination details, cabling requirements, etc.Development of system architecture (PLCs, Networks Switches, I/O Island, etc.
)Prepare Cable Calculation & SchedulesEvaluation and selection of sub-contractors and suppliersSpecify equipment for procurement in conjunction with the purchasing departmentLiaise with other departments i.e.
design, contracts, control & automation etc.
