About Our Client: Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Cork, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team.
This role is focused on maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and machinery during day shifts, ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production efficiency.
Conduct preventive maintenance to improve the reliability and longevity of equipment.
Install, maintain, and test electrical wiring, controls, and distribution systems.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support operational goals and address technical issues.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.
Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and automated systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manuals.
