AVK-SEG UK Ltd, a frontrunner in the energy sector, is searching for an enthusiastic Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing electrical projects related to diesel generator and gas engine systems, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet all specifications and regulations.
You'll be working on large scale Data Centre / Substation projects within Dublin.
As an Electrical Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing the design and implementation of electrical systems for various projects, including data centres & power plant substations, ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including project managers, sales, and design engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
Conducting site visits to assess project progress and ensure engineering standards are applied correctly.
Generating detailed project documentation, including reports, specifications, and schedules, to facilitate smooth communication across stakeholders.
Providing technical support during the planning and execution phases, as well as conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations throughout project activities.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical project management, particularly in the energy sector.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including diesel & gas generator systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and design documentation.
Good knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for site inspections.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
