Are you an Electrical Project Manager with over 5 Years Experience?This is a full time permanent position based in Cork or DublinElectrical Project Manager - Facilities Management - CorkOur client are an Irish owned Facilities Management company.
They work in multiple sectors including; Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education, Corporate, Government, Public Buildings, and Retail.We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to join our clients Projects Division on a full-time, permanent contract.
The successful applicant will be predominately based in the Cork area but will be expected to travel to meet our business needs.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation and delivery of projects to include scheduling, resourcing and budgeting whilst managing all site personnel and overlooking the successful delivery of projects to a high standard and within a timely manner.
Lead projects from the concept stage right through to completion, while defining the technical requirements of the project.Creating and developing project plans as per the scope to include defining a timeline, managing costs and establishing the resources required while ensuring project profitability.Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client, suppliers and other partnersManage client concerns and ensure they are dealt with in a thorough and timely manner Lead, develop and retain staff while ensuring the delivery of an efficient & effective servicePlanning of all resources including labour, materials and subcontractors Manage the procurement process for all electrical projects to include the pricing of contracts, projects and tenders for the Facilities Management and Project TeamsManage and drive a large team to meet all project requirements and deadlines Manage, direct and co-ordinate the activities of contracted personnel and/or third parties Manage & authorize staffing requirements on site (i.e.
overtime) and notify the HR Department of any unscheduled absences.
Staffing requirements should be documented & reviewed weekly Ensure that records are maintained and updated as required Provide reports and updates on the progress of projects to the management team Ensure Company systems are implemented correctly upon the commencement of projects to include Safe Work Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments, etc.
Ensure all projects are completed to the highest specification in terms of quality, Health and Safety along with client satisfaction Proactively enhance and improve the service delivered by our clientMaintain excellent relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities for the FM team in conjunction with the General Manager Ensure successful commissioning and handover of projects in accordance with procedureResponsible for the implementation and adherence of Company quality & safety standardsAnalyze budgetary information to assist in both monthly and annual budgetary forecasting Support both customer and Company audits, ensuring that optimum results are achievedSupport the Projects Division in promoting a culture of excellent customer service and establishing exceptional working relationships with both your colleagues and the client.Act as a brand ambassador and lead the Company through its ongoing expansionAny other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the businessRequirementsDegree qualified in either an engineering discipline or with an Electrical Trade background Minimum of 8 years' extensive experience in a fast-paced construction environmentIn-depth knowledge of Electrical and Construction industry essentialProven leadership capabilities with solid commercial and financial awarenessExcellent people management skills while delivering exceptional customer service Proven health & safety awareness with a thorough understanding of quality systemsStrong understanding of financial and budgetary control (labour and subcontractors) Proficient in IT literacy with the ability to collate and generate detailed site reportsExceptional time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines Package€60k - €80k Salary negotiable for the right candidate.Full time Permanent Position.
