Based in Waterford, the company is dedicated to hiring the best talent, investing significantly in training and development to ensure the highest levels of health, safety, and governance are upheld throughout the organisation. They are keen to add an Electrical QAQC Officer to their team in Cork. Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee the deployment of the Quality Management System (QMS) at the project site. Execute and monitor the project-specific quality strategy as defined by (Your Clients Name). Take charge of planning, conducting, and analyzing internal quality audits. Develop and manage Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring that all work meets pre-established quality benchmarks. Spearhead initiatives to set quality standards, driving innovative approaches to enhance the QA/QC focus on the project. Deliver training sessions to project staff, ensuring a thorough understanding of the QA/QC procedures. Act as the primary point of contact between (Your Clients Name) and the client regarding construction quality, maintaining strong professional relationships. Participate actively in project meetings related to QA/QC to ensure that the quality management system and project handover documentation are submitted, approved, and implemented as required. Serve as the on-site authority on construction quality, offering expert guidance on QA/QC practices. Implement and oversee construction quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with project standards. Collaborate with Construction Managers and the site QA/QC team to develop and implement programs aimed at continuous improvement. Team Leadership and Development: Demonstrate strong leadership skills by motivating team members and holding them accountable for performance. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness. Lead the delivery of a zero-defect project target. Ensure that all project personnel have received the appropriate training to deliver an exceptionally high-quality project. Essential Criteria: Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of delivering large, high-quality construction projects. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proven track record of successfully leading teams to deliver exceptional results on similar projects. Hold qualifications in QA/QC or equivalent disciplines, or have demonstrable equivalent experience. Strong strategic planning and tactical execution abilities. Proficiency in relevant IT tools and systems. Qualifications: Degree and/or Diploma and/or craft qualifications. Demonstrated construction experience. Demonstrated capability in Construction Quality Management. Construction QA/QC experience on projects within the Data Centre industry is desirable Skills: Quality Quality Control Quality Assurance Electrical electrical engineer
