Our client, a well-established firm with over two decades in the electrical industry, is expanding and seeks a talented individual to join their growing team in Dublin.
Specialising in commercial and industrial projects, they offer an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in their success.
Role Overview: In this position, you will ensure that projects deliver optimal financial returns.
Your key duties will include financial monitoring, subcontractor management, and cost control.
You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost plans, managing budgets, and negotiating final accounts to ensure the highest project profitability.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Monitoring: Track and report on invoicing, orders, and budget forecasts.
Maintain and update cash flow forecasts for each project and the company.
Subcontractor Management: Create and manage scopes of work and contract agreements, assess subcontractor claims, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
Cost Control: Develop cost/value reconciliation reports, finalise interim valuations, and manage variations to control costs and maximise profitability.
Documentation and Reporting: Review contractual documents, prepare and manage subcontract packages, and produce regular progress reports.
Client and Contractor Relations: Work closely with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors to justify cost variations and ensure timely payments and contract compliance.
Qualifications and Skills: Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, ideally within the electrical sector, with a track record of managing medium to large complex projects.
Skills: Strong numerical ability with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the capability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
