We are currently recruiting full time Qualified Electricians to partake in works on a project located in Athlone.
Responsibilities: Make Up and install cable containment in line with layout drawings and dimensions.
Install and terminate cable in the correct manner and in line with site standards.
Guarantee that the works comply with site quality standards and guidelines.
Comply with all safety limitations and procedures.
Ensure that correct PPE is worn at all times on site.
Keep the workplace in a tidy manner and free of excess materials.
Plan and execute works in the most productive manner.
Dispose of waste in the correct receptacles.
Comply with site instructions regarding the formulation and implementation of RAMS - SPAs etc.
Testing, maintenance and repair/replacement.
All other duties associated with this role.
Requirements and Skills: The successful candidate will have time served Electrical trades experience.
Highly skilled in electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
Problem-solving to take controlled / real time approach to problems and solving them.
Ability to manage and prioritise tasks.
Interpersonal skills and be willing to work on ones own initiative or as part of a wider site team.
Understanding of construction documentation an advantage.
Excellent communication skills.
Capability to work well under pressure and within a strict time limit environment.
