Join us in our mission to provide top-notch security solutions globally.Role Summary:We are looking for an amazing Electronic Security Apprentice Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team. The electronic security apprenticeship is 4 years, which includes:
On-the-Job Training: Apprenticeships involve practical, on-the-job training with senior engineers, this includes hands-on experience with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems.Off-the-Job Training (Solas): Off-the-job training is delivered through a combination of classroom-based learning and online courses. This theoretical training complements the practical skills gained on the job. The apprenticeship is structured into 7 different phases or modules, each focusing on specific aspects of electronic security systems.Assessment: Apprentices are assessed throughout their training, both on-site and during off-the-job training. Assessment methods may include exams, practical assessments, and workplace evaluations.Qualification: Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices will receive a nationally recognized qualification, QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Electronic Security Systems.What You'll Do:Installation, service and maintenance of electronic security devices in line with all the relevant Irish and EU standards.Products include access control, CCTV, life safety, time & attendance products.Analyse system faults.Work with technical drawings and diagrams.Interpretation of equipment assembly, disassembly and adjustment procedures.Completion and updating of job-related documentation.Relevant basic IT skills appropriate to the trade.Awareness of Health & Safety requirements for the industry.Ad hoc duties as required.What You'll Need to be Successful:Minimum Pass Leaving Certificate required.Full, clean driving licence.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Adaptable, flexible, and able to prioritise and meet deadlines.Strong time management skills with the ability to work on own initiative.Team player with a positive, customer-focused attitude.Good technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.What You'll Get From Us:Break the mold: Contribute to ground-breaking solutions that redefine our industry.
