Work location may be Cork or Dublin. Work Smart hybrid work arrangements apply for this role, with frequent travel to Cork. Elevate, Musgrave's retail media & data solutions business, offers clients a range of tailored & personalised media solutions across four key channels - in store, outdoor, online & direct to consumer. As part of our commitment to staying ahead of market trends and providing exceptional value to our clients, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Media Insights Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing campaign data, consumer trends, and competitor activity to provide actionable insights that drive the success of our media services offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of the retail media industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities of the role include: Supporting the growth of Elevate's media business, ensuring revenues are maximised whilst adhering to agreed channel principles.Ongoing assessment of campaign performance and making recommendations for campaign enhancements.Building a library of best-in-class & compelling insights that demonstrate media campaign effectiveness, using multiple data sets to include sales data, customer behaviour, and online awareness metrics.Utilising first-party data in developing audience recommendations, working closely with Insights & Data and Analytics teams and cross-functional teams to determine campaign audiences, availability, timelines, and delivery of standard and custom audiences.Developing strategies that align with client needs and market opportunities.Providing optimisation recommendations on tactics/placements, targeting/segmentation, and messaging to meet specific campaign objectives.Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, including research firms, industry associations, and vendors, to access additional market data and insights.Analysing activation benchmarks and continually updating the team on trends impacting audience reach in the changing digital landscape.Helping monitor, analyse, and forecast a CPG's usage of audience packages.Assisting in completing projects that increase the team's efficiency and accuracy for providing customer insights.Staying abreast of best practices and innovations in media research and analytics and making recommendations for continuous improvement within the organisation.Being a strategic thinker with a customer-centric focus, utilising data-driven techniques to drive business optimisation and performance.Leading, managing, and developing an expanding team of data & insight analysts.The successful candidate will have the following: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, media studies, or related field; advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in market research, media planning, advertising, or related roles within the FMCG industry.Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.Experience with media research methodologies, including audience measurement, ad tracking, and campaign analysis.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex information into actionable insights.Proficiency in the use of data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and influence decision-making at all levels of the organisation.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of the media industry, including key players, market dynamics, and emerging trends.Ability to travel as needed for meetings, conferences, and industry events.Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.

Musgrave operates a Work Smart hybrid working model where you can alternate your time between connecting and collaborating in the business and working remotely. Occasional business travel to other locations will also be required.
