Apply now and join our dynamic environment in Cork.As an embedded Firmware/Applications Engineering Trainee with Infineon, you will be working within the Smart Sensing IP teams in Cork developing solutions for our PSoC microcontroller products.
You will have a key role in the development of cutting-edge smart sensing technology with a focus on both battery management systems and touch sensing solutions for the automotive and industrial markets.In your new role, you will:Learn about smart sensing technology Gain an in-depth knowledge of automotive battery management systems for Electric Vehicles as well as Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solutionsLearn and understand the requirements for successful marketing and sales Have a key role in developing system solutions (Software, Firmware, Hardware) for widespread promotionDevelop your skills with formal training and on the job learningCollaborate with local and international teamsYou have a result-oriented and proactive mindset and are a team player with good interpersonal skills.
Furthermore, you are eager to learn about new, cutting-edge technology and have creative and analytical skills that support you in solving problems and ensure a successful outcome.
Is self-motivated and can manage project requirements and milestones.You are best equipped for this job if you:Have a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or any similar field Pose a good knowledge of C or C# and value excellent coding practices Maintain good time management skills Are a critical thinker and not afraid to speak up or provide feedbackHave a fluent English level It will be an advantage if you also have:Hands on experience working with embedded hardware and knowledge of microcontrollers Ability to work within a technical team collaborating on algorithms and qualityThis paid internship is a first step into a successful career with us!
