This role offers the opportunity to work directly with key members of the business, engineering, and legal teams on a variety of impactful, cutting-edge projects including:
Counsel on data protection aspects of new and existing products and servicesLead policy assessments and engagements including with Governments and law enforcement agencies in the EMEIA regionLead Apple's engagements and interactions with data protection authorities in the region by building productive relationshipsManage the handling of privacy complaints and queries in a timely, complete, and accurate mannerResponsible for the management and completion of law enforcement requests in the EMEIA region in a timely, complete, and accurate mannerSupport compliance and auditing frameworks, assist with drafting of, and updates to, relevant policies and proceduresAny other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Global Head of PrivacyMinimum Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years privacy related experience, and 15+ years overall experience working with or leading complex teamsProven management skills leading large teamsProven experience driving complex cross-functional initiativesAbility to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications in English. Additional languages are a plus.Strong analytical capability particularly with attention to detailAble to multi-task across diverse business units and geographical boundariesComfortable expressing a point of view and influencing changeAbility to identify and develop key team members' talentWork both independently and collaboratively with numerous people at all levels throughout the companyProven ability and commitment to work both independently and collaboratively with numerous people at all levels throughout the companySound business judgment, and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs changeDemonstrated ability, in a positive, commercial and practical manner, to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and effectively
