The EMEIA Logistics team is seeking a dynamic, innovative and self-motivated individual with strong analytic abilities for the role of EMEIA Logistics Inventory Analyst. This is a critically important role in a team that is dedicated to achieving best-in-class inventory management and control. The ideal candidate will have a combination of business insight and technical knowledge, used to developing and delivering reporting and analysis enabling rapid decision-making. You will focus on supporting the achievement of our inventory goals and critical process improvement initiatives. This role is highly visible, interacting with our partners in the broader operations & logistics teams. The ability to work seamlessly with these teams is essential for achieving the objectives of the position.
Description Key logistics contact for our DC providers, ensuring best-in-class inventory control / alignment across Apple and Supplier systems. Develop, maintain, and own robust reporting key metrics that help to guide the business and measure success. Deep dive on operational data, identify trends & make recommendations to peers and leadership to drive impactful business decisions. Identify and evaluate operational risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate. Play a lead role in the development of reporting to support the evolution of the inventory management / control processes. Partner with the Data Science teams on automation of inventory control processes.
Minimum Qualifications Experience in a Data Analyst, Supply Chain, Operations / Inventory Planning role.Knowledge of Tableau or other data reporting / data visualisation tools.The ability to evaluate and become comfortable with large data sets, analyse and present data with meaningful insights. A keen eye for detail is a must.Creative thinker who can embrace new technologies e.g. AI/ML, identify opportunities to optimise inventory control and deliver new tools and processes to support scale.A curious and creative mindset and the ability to cut through ambiguity with a practical and solutions orientated approach to problem solving.Skilled in taking complex data and helping to make it easily understood for business and technical teams. Understanding of how to build business cases and defining how large/small a problem is.Confidence to make critical decisions and deliver results under extremely tight timelines and flexibility to react to the challenges of a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications CPIM or CSCP certified.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Business Analytics, Economics, Business Information Systems, Maths, Data Science.Experience in program management focused on continuous improvement.
