Emergency Medicine Registrar - Ireland Emergency Department Registrar FRS are pleased to be working in partnership with the HSE to source a skilled Emergency Medicine Registrar for an esteemed public teaching hospital in the west of Ireland FRS are pleased to accept applications from Doctors with the title; Emergency Medicine Registrar, Emergency Medicine Doctor, Emergency Medicine Senior House Officer, Medical Officer - Emergency Department.
As an integral part of our Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in providing urgent medical care to a diverse patient population.
This is an exciting opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary setting while advancing your career in emergency medicine.
The successful candidate will have 1 or more years of experience in emergency medicine in an acute hospital setting at Registrar level or higher or have experience of working in an emergency department in UK/Ireland/Australia/South Africa/Malaysia Responsibilities: Perform essential medical procedures with precision in a fast-paced environment.
Provide immediate care and stabilisation for patients with acute conditions, injuries, or trauma.
Participate in the triage process, ensuring timely attention to critically ill patients.
Make rapid and informed decisions, managing complex cases and determining appropriate care paths.
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and health care providers, ensuring continuity of care.
Respond to mass casualty incidents or emergencies as part of a coordinated team effort.
Requirements: 3 years of experience in an acute hospital.
1 year at registrar level in an Emergency Department or experience at SHO level in UK/Ireland/Australia/South Africa/Malaysia Registration with the Irish Medical Council Valid OET or IELTS Exam MRCEM part 1 and 2 are essential If you meet the criteria and are ready for this fantastic opportunity, submit your CV online today to Emma Fenton.
