TOBIN is now recruiting a leader to develop our Energy Practice.
Reporting to the TOBIN Executive at Associate Director level, the Energy Practice Lead will have:
Qualifications:Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree preferably in Electrical EngineeringPreferably Chartered with an Accredited Professional Body such as Engineers IrelandExperience:Previous senior leadership duties with a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experienceProject Management experience in major energy infrastructure such as wind farms and high-voltage power gridsKnowledge of energy regulation and high voltage grid infrastructure in IrelandPreference for previous experience working with Eirgrid, ESB or equivalentTechnical awareness and team leadership experienceDesign or design management experience as a consultant preferredRelevant international experience welcomeDuties:Interface for existing partners and clients leading projects through to commissioningCollaborate with other TOBIN divisions such as Environmental and PlanningPursue new opportunities in renewable energy (wind, solar, hydrogen, hydro, biogas), grid transformation and decarbonisation, and transmission system interconnectorsDemonstrate the highest levels of safety and integrityDevelop and mentor specialist teams seeking innovation and continuous improvementBe accountable for project performance and excellence in technical deliveryLive TOBIN values including sustainability, safety, and CPDTOBIN has a hybrid working policy with up to 3 days per week remote.
The role location can be based from a choice of our offices in Dublin, Castlebar, Galway, Limerick, or Sligo.
As a team leader, some travel across our office network will be expected.
Travel related to project and client meetings will also be required.
Flexible working hours are also available.
