Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited) to the following:
Coordinates and performs work within areas of ownership. Measures and manages team performance as required.Actively participate in cross functional teams and value stream initiatives to meet company goals.Equipment purchase, commissioning and installation.Education / Experience RequirementsQualifications/Professional skills/knowledge Third level engineering degree5+ years' technical experience in a similar environmentBasic Project management skillsGenuine Interest in Engineering and medical device development.A strong technical aptitude and deep understanding of catheter manufacturing processes would be an advantage.Statistical analysisStructured Problem Solving techniquesUnderstanding of Lean PrinciplesAbility to drive projects to completionTechnical report writingProcess validations/FMEA's and protocolsUnderstanding of Health & Safety - Machine safety, basic Ergonomics, electrical safety, Chemical safetyAbility to generate and understanding technical drawing (AutoCAD/Inventor)Understanding of new product introduction processSpecialized Skills / Other RequirementsCompetency Profile People Clear verbal and written communicationAbility to lead meetingsAbility to work in a cross functional teamAbility to use interpersonal skills to deal successfully with day to day people related issuesAbility to influence employees that do not report directlyDemonstrates behaviours in line with Teleflex Core Values
