Cloud DevOps Engineer Location: Limerick, Ireland (hybrid) Duration: 6 months Hours: 40 Pay rate range: Depending on experience Imagine your next project where you will be working in the position of a Cloud DevOps Engineer where you will be responsible for driving the deployment of this platform to additional production sites, along with the team.
roles and responsibilities Project supports Janssen manufacturing operations worldwide, moving systems from on premise to the cloud.
This will invole: Support the deployments on existing sites as part of the technical go-live phase Work with the team to identify improvements – particularly with regards scalability and reliability Engage with the wider business and 3rd party suppliers to understand and refine requirements, report blockers etc.

Ability to use initiative to solve functional and non functional problems You will also bring: Team player with experience in use of JIRA in Kanban and Scrum methodologies - Substantial communication skills with experience in dealing with diverse global teams - Strong Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) experience, both administration and application deployment.
o Strong Azure experience.
Experience with other cloud providers is beneficial.
DevOps and associated tools such as ArgoCD Technical K8S experience in networking, security, scalability and monitoring.
Core K8S technical skills such as kubectl, ingress, helm, Prometheus, Grafana o DevOps tools experience Chef, Terraform, Jenkins, Powershell, Groovy, Python - Beneficial technical skills SDLC background or experience Linux/Windows administration Remote Desktop Service Administration (incl.
RemoteApp) API and web services, either/both implementation, and integration experience Shop floor manufacturing technology experience, such as MES, Historian, SCADA At least 5 years' experience in the software industry Benefits This role offers a very competitive hourly rate.
