Role Keelvar has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Intern with a background in Computer Science to join our Engineering groups in a developer capacity, for 4 to 6 months during 2025.
You will be joining a critical group responsible for our core platform and new automation product.
The team is a cross functional group including developers, data scientists, UI, QA and product designers.
Applicants must be a student/recent graduate based in Ireland and be in at least their 3rd year of obtaining their qualification.
Responsibilities Responsibilities Work in a cross functional development team analysing product feature requests and designing solutions.
Write unit tests and otherwise ensure the quality of your code.
Get involved with reviewing colleague's code, automated tests and designs.
Help to investigate and problem solve issues.
Get involved in code deployments and help to monitor the areas of the system you work in.
Collaborate closely with the Product team on new features and workflows.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to ensure our vision and roadmap is delivered.
Contribute to the ongoing success of this fast-paced, rapidly growing and evolving organization.
Bring a fresh perspective to the problems your team is tackling.
Your profile Trained in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Ideally you enjoy coding in Python or another object oriented language.
You enjoy writing clean and testable code and are familiar with common software design patterns.
You are self motivated and driven to achieve; you enjoy setting yourself goals and exceeding them, and you tackle the status quo.
You are a deep thinker, you like to innovate, you like to solve problems creatively and quickly, and are passionate about technology and people.
You thrive in an environment of mutual respect, openness and collaboration.
You enjoy getting things done at a quick pace.
You have a sense of ownership, you enjoy taking initiative and leading work through to completion.
