We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Daft engineering team, reporting to the Head of Engineering. We have some big aspirations for our products and some exciting challenges with our technology. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to help bring these products to life and set your teams up for success along the way.

What will I be doing Partnering with Product, Sales and Design/UX to define a vision and strategy for your team Leading the execution of your team's roadmap and pragmatically solving bumps along the way Help coordinate delivery priorities, unblock teams, align solutions to our technology strategy and guide new feature development Leading by example to set a culture of empowerment, accountability and ownership throughout the engineering team Monitoring team cadence and efficiency, surfacing operational insights and driving continuous improvements Developing and mentoring the Engineers on your team, with a focus on career and personal growth What skills and experience do I need A track record of at least 3 years running Engineering teams, with experience in leading through ambiguity and uncertainty A technical background and is familiar with modern approaches to software development and architecture Excellent communication skills with the ability to set clear goals and the right context A results-oriented nature and is passionate about continuous improvement - of people, process and technology Successfully recruited and retained phenomenal people and championed a great team culture of development, growth and technical excellence What's it like to work here You will have the opportunity to work with one of Ireland's fastest growing Internet companies.
