Engineering / Maintenance Manager Position A leading food manufacturer located in the Monaghan area is currently seeking an Engineering / Maintenance Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Call Conor O'Hagan for more details Responsibilities: Oversee all site maintenance, ensuring machinery operates at peak efficiency and that buildings are well-maintained.
This includes scheduling and conducting preventative maintenance, managing mechanical and electrical breakdowns, and overseeing the work of contractors and suppliers.
Lead the maintenance team effectively, ensuring all maintenance activities are planned and executed on schedule, including the resolution of issues and management of small and Large Capex projects.
Conduct safety checks and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure the wellbeing of all staff and visitors.
Develop strategies for improving machine reliability and production efficiency, identifying cost-saving opportunities within the maintenance budget.
Maintain strong relationships with third-party contractors and manage associated costs.
Engage in project management for new installations and refurbishments and provide support for team projects and other tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile: Qualified Electrical / Mechanical Engineer Requires a minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role within a maintenance engineering team in a manufacturing environment.
Should have comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing equipment and safety standards, with a proven track record of applying structured problem-solving skills.
