Engineering Operative - Sligo

Bus Eireann is recruiting an Engineering Operative to join the Fleet maintenance team based in our Depot in Sligo. This role encompasses the daily maintenance of all Public Service Vehicles operating out of Sligo Depot and other Engineering Operative related duties based on business needs.

This role is responsible for:
Fueling buses and checking oil/water levelsCovering shifts when requiredShunting of vehiclesWashing and cleaning busesMinor maintenance work can be carried out where appropriate under direction from the Foreman or Team LeaderOther duties as outlined by the Foreman or Team LeaderMaintenance of the Garage areaCleaning and tidying the depot and garage environmentVehicle and parts deliveries and collectionsForklift truck operationMinimum Requirements: Full category D Licence required.
