ATG are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join a growing team in Dublin. The Environmental Consultant will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate environmental regulations, improve sustainability practices, and mitigate environmental risks.
This position involves conducting assessments, providing expert advice, and developing innovative solutions to address environmental challenges across various industries.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and audits for projects, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations. Identify potential environmental risks and propose mitigation strategies.Stay updated on environmental laws, regulations, and policies, and ensure clients meet all legal obligations. Prepare documentation for permits, licenses, and compliance reporting.Develop and implement sustainability plans to minimize environmental footprints. Advise clients on adopting renewable energy, waste reduction, and water conservation measures.Oversee environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, and policy advisors.Gather and analyze environmental data using tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and statistical software.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or a related field.A master's degree is a plus.Experience: 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field.Skills: Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.Proficiency in environmental modeling, GIS software, or other relevant tools.Excellent communication and report-writing skills.Project management experience, including budget and timeline management.
