We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Environmental Consultant to join a growing Planning and Environmental Consenting team. You will play a key role in delivering infrastructure projects in sectors like energy, water, rail, and highways. Location: Galway, Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and other environmental deliverables for multi-disciplinary teams.Champion high environmental standards within engineering projects to achieve sustainable outcomes.Collate and edit environmental data into clear, concise reports.Manage client relationships confidently and professionally.Lead and contribute to business development activities, including bid preparation.Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices through continual professional development.Requirements: Degree or Master's in an environmental or related science field.Chartered status (IEMA or similar professional body).Extensive experience in environmental coordination and consultancy, ideally within infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of the EIA process and environmental technical disciplines.Leadership experience within multi-disciplinary teams.Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and adapt to new challenges.Motivated and committed to delivering sustainable environmental solutions.The client offers continuous career development, flexible working arrangements, and a diverse, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
