Vickerstock are working in partnership with a national residential construction firm on the appointment of an Environmental Manager.
You will be responsible for driving the overall strategic Environmental agenda and ensure the correct level of oversight across all sites in the organisation.

implementation)Awareness and experience of biodiversity and ecology from an Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) perspectiveWorking knowledge of construction waste management legal and regulatory requirementsAbility to interpret and develop management plans for noise, dust and vibrationExperience and competency regarding preservation and mitigation measures (SPA, SAC and NHA)Experience of CSRD requirements and ESG responsibilities - ability to suggest innovative measures to addressDetailed knowledge of waste management and Article 27 and 28Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively with colleagues from all levels of the organisation, including senior leaders, project/site managers and supply chainDemonstrated success in driving solutions involving multiple stakeholders and layers of management, and multiple simultaneous deliverablesFamiliarity with sustainability reporting standardsDesirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't): Experience working within residential constructionEnvironmental Management/Engineering or related degree is desirableFor a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with Sam Geddis, our Health and Safety Specialist today.
