Our client is seeking an Accounts Administrator to provide outstanding customer service to a diverse range of account holders and manage day-to-day account administration processes.
Job Responsibilities: Deliver excellent customer service, managing a high volume of client queries through various channels, including online, phone, and in person.
Distribute payments, including processing and reconciling monthly transactions.
Handle daily processing of receipts and payments to accounts using online banking systems.
Support system development and assist in updating account records and general administration.
Perform credit control processes, including managing overdue accounts and related reporting.
Assist with industry-related reconciliations and audits, including bank and holding accounts.
Process invoices and payments, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Contribute to ad hoc projects and undertake additional duties as required.
Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy office or financial administration role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
Proven ability to manage confidential information and adhere to deadlines.
Organisational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with financial reconciliations or similar processes is desirable.
Desirable Skills: An interest or knowledge of the industry would be an advantage.
Previous experience in credit control or reconciliations.
Educational Requirements: A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
