Our leading Financial Services client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery aligned with strategic goals.
This is a contract role, offered on a daily rate, based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Develop comprehensive project plans, define goals, and manage budgets, identifying the resources required.
Plan, manage, and communicate timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices and standards.
Perform risk management to mitigate project risks.
Monitor project performance, focusing on the successful achievement of both short and long-term goals.
Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
Oversee day-to-day project operations, including scope and change management.
Ensure adherence to frameworks and maintain appropriate documentation for each project.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure all cloud infrastructure (AWS) meets security and compliance standards.
Key Requirements: Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
Strong expertise and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects, with a history of successful project delivery.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, virtualization, cloud technologies, and data centers.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.
Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
