We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in testing and quality assurance within the financial services sector.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for financial applications.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough testing coverage.
Document and track defects, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
Enhance existing testing frameworks and contribute to automation initiatives.
Conduct API testing and validate data integrity between systems.
Provide clear and detailed test reports to stakeholders.
Key Skills & Requirements Proven experience as a QA Engineer (5+ years preferred).
Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
Proficiency in API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Experience with test management tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
Basic SQL knowledge for validating database queries and testing.
Exposure to financial services systems or applications is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Desirable Skills Experience in automation frameworks such as Cucumber or Appium.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of testing tools.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
Contract Details Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension.
